Teerin Liewluck, MD

Dr. Teerin Liewluck is an associate professor of neurology at the Division of Neuromuscular Medicine and Muscle Laboratory at Mayo Clinic-Rochester. He graduated from Faculty of Medicine-Siriraj Hospital Mahidol University in Thailand before joining the Department of Neuromuscular Research at National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP) of Japan. He then completed his neurology residency at University of Miami and Neuromuscular Disorders (Muscle) fellowship and Clinical Neurophysiology (EMG) fellowship at the Mayo Clinic-Rochester. He was an assistant professor of neurology and associate director of Neurology Outpatient Practice at University of Colorado before returning to Mayo Clinic-Rochester. He has a particular interest in all aspects (clinical, electrophysiology, pathology, and genetics) of muscle diseases, both acquired and hereditary, and also congenital myasthenic syndromes. He has published 60 peer-review articles and 4 book chapters. He is on editorial board of Muscle and Nerve and has served on several committees for American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM). He is an ad hoc reviewer for several neurology and rheumatology journals, including Neurology, Neurology-Genetics, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry, European Journal of Neurology, Neuromuscular Disorders, etc.
