Sneha Mantri, MD
Dr. Mantri is assistant professor of neurology at Duke University and a core faculty member of the Trent Center for Bioethics, Humanities, and History of Medicine. She completed her medical degree from Columbia University, where she also obtained a Master’s in Narrative Medicine, followed by neurology residency at the University of Virginia and movement disorders fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Her academic interests include health disparities and physical activity habits in Parkinson disease. Under the auspices of the Trent Center, Dr. Mantri is developing a certificate in medical humanities at Duke. Her educational endeavors center on professional identity formation and the use of the arts to challenge medicine’s burnout-resilience dichotomy.
