Sasha Zivkovic, MD, PhD

Dr. Sasha Zivkovic graduated from University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Zagreb, Croatia followed by postdoctoral fellowship at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland and clinical training at University of Pittsburgh. He specializes in treatment of neuromuscular disorders, including peripheral neuropathies, myasthenia gravis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. His research interests include autoimmune and hereditary neuropathies, neurologic complications of transthyretin amyloidosis and organ transplantation. He has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and serves as Professor of Neurology at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
