Dr. Maurizio Corbetta is Professor and Chair of Neurology at the University of Padova, Italy, and Professor of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. He is the founding Director of the Padova Neuroscience Center, dedicated to the study of brain organization and diseases.
Dr. Corbetta has pioneered experiments on the neural mechanisms of human attention, and the neurological mechanisms of stroke recovery. He is developing methods for studying the functional organization of the brain. He is one of the top 100 Italian Scientists, and Highly Cited Researcher from Thompson Reuters in Neuroscience/Behavior.
