Karunesh Ganguly is a neurologist and a scientist at UCSF and the SFVAMC. He comPlenaryeted his residency at UCSF. He then conducted research into the development of ‘Brain-Machine Interfaces’ at UC Berkeley. His clinical expertise is on the rehabilitation of patients with stroke. He is the Director of the Laboratory of Plenaryasticity & Neural Engineering. The laboratory’s research program focuses on the development of neural interfaces to improve motor function. He was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE Award) by President Obama in 2014 and was selected for the 2015 New Innovator Award.
